How to request deletion

In the app: Settings → Delete account. Or email us any time at support@cavybeauty.com and we’ll handle it for you.

What gets deleted

Your profile, photos, messages and booking history are removed straight away. Anything left in our systems, including backups, is gone within 30 days.

What we keep, and why

Some things stay: a record that you agreed to a treatment, any moderation action taken on your account, and any reports involving you. We keep these so we can respond to a safety concern or a legal claim.

They hold your first name, a scrambled version of your email address that we can’t read back, what you agreed to, and when. Not your photos, messages, or contact details. We keep them for up to 6 years, then delete them.

Reports also stay — both any report someone has made about you, and any report you made about someone else. A report is a record of something that happened between two people, so it isn’t only yours to remove. If reports disappeared whenever the person they were about left, reporting someone would stop being worth doing.

What stays on a report is your first name and the same scrambled version of your email address. Your account, contact details, photos and messages are all gone. We keep the scrambled email deliberately, and it’s fair that you know why: if that same address ever signs up again, it matches. It means a serious report can’t be cleared by deleting the account and starting over. We can’t turn it back into an email address, and we don’t use it for anything else.

We keep reports for up to 6 years, the same as the records above, and then delete them.

How long it takes

Deletion is immediate, and anything remaining is cleared within 30 days. The records described above are the only exceptions, and all of them are deleted after 6 years.
